Just wondering if anybody else Watched this show last night. They were fishing down at Falcon Lake in some pretty brutal conditions. If you watched, the jigs Jason Hoffman and Ronnie Kelly were using were built by me. Is a special color Jason and I came with with a while back called Killer Craw. My name was never mentioned in the show as Jason is sponsored by another jig company but thought it was pretty cool knowing that they were my jigs. Not much of a fan of the show but have met Ronnie Parker the owner of Lake Fork Tackle and the one that puts that show on. Had breakfast with Ronnie a few weeks ago to discuss possibly doing some business together. That part did not work out but Ronnie is a nice guy and told me then that the show would be coming on in the next few weeks so I have been keeping an eye out for it. Spoke with Jason this morning also and gave him a hard time about using my jigs in the show. Good guy and we both had a pretty good laugh. Thanks

Zonas show was great, PTJ was equally so, but Big Bass Battle and especially Fish Fishburnes show wont be recorded again on my DVR !

No,,,,,You didnt miss a thing ! Lowered his credentials ALOT in my book. SKL PTJ was incredible ! And Zonas show was off the charts with KVD and BIG smallies galore ! Both those guys are insanely driven fishermen. Niggemeyer and Hackney put on a good gig with the Rage Hawg on PTJ.Both shows were well produced, and are on “Series Record” on my DVR !Heck, Mike Iaconellis City Limits in Memphis was even entertaining, except for hooking the cameraman in the head, and fishing outta a “bug bote” !

Cox blows since they removed the Outdoor Channel and replaced it w/ NHL channel two years ago. Ill look for the big bass battle on versus though.

We have Versus on Time Warner but they have Hockey on during that time slot. Why they are showing the Chicago Blackhawks vs. LA Kings on the in NY or anywhere on the East coast is beyond me.

I watched the show. It was ok. And you are right about the conditions those guys were fishing in. But Its Falcon. Fish it deep in the cold and youll hook a big one. I didnt pay much attention to the jig they used. I use Jewel jigs, mostley because i get them from a buddy of mine that is sponsored by them.

Above is the exact jig they were using. Is a 1 oz football with a hvy wire mustad hook, hvy weed guard. Head color is powder painted in black then clear coated. Skirt is Hand Tied. Very durable jig to say the least. I caught fish on this color at Pickwick last week also. Only the 3rd time I have been fishing in 2 years. Spent 2 days on the water and caught close to 100 bass. All caught in 15 to 35 deep out on the ledges. All fish were caught on drop shots, c-rigs with big worms, texas rigged big worms and on the last day. Caught several on a big 3/4 oz spinner bait slow rolling in 25 to 35 of water. They would hit spinner bait like a freight train. Plan on trying to go again next week for a couple days !!!

Is not on my web site as it was Jasons secret color for a long time. Plan on putting it on there some time in the near future. Is called Killer Craw.
