bilge/livewell pump question

My bilge pump is causing a fault warning. I took a quick look and noticed I have 6 pumps. Does anyone know what they are all for?My guesses, till I can crawl around a bit this weekend.1. bilge2. livewell fill3. livewell recirculator4. livewell aerator5. livewell empty6. ?I have a 2000 Cougar.Can I upgrade the bilge pump to a higher flow rate or will that cause the BP2000 to alarm for excess current?Thanks,Mark

Fault signals on BP dashes indicate an electrical issue from the pumps. The units require quality voltage and minimum amp draw, while also regulating maximum amp drain. Either will show Fault signals. So somethings up in most cases.

BilgePump inPump outRecircAeratorIm thinking you have an extra as a safety as has been suggested. I would turn the switch on and then feel the motor to see which is vibrating. then you can label them for future reference.
