Guys, We have been through plenty and 1998 to 2000 was no picnic. This is not a political thread from our injection, though the end of the Bill Clinton term was no picnic. And there was a Trade Center bombing in that term, as well as other issues related to terrorism. 1973 Arab Embargo 1979 – 80 Threatened reduction in fuel for leisure use by Carter 1980 – 82 Recession and Interest hikes following Carter. The industry suffered in 1990-91, though we were fortunate. 1998-2000 – Market Crash 911-2001 New York, Pentagon, PA and more 2004 Katrina, Rita and eventually Ike in 2008 We forget there were some National disasters that may have contributed to our recent demise in the economic situations.
