Black seats and removeable consoles

Looking at a used boat with black seats. I really like most things about the boat, other than the fact it will need a 2nd console for momma to sign off on it, and the fact it has black seats and I see my kids burning their legs on the seats 100 times a summer on those. I have never had a bassboat with black seats. With the new fabrics, how much of a concern should this be? (its a 2015)Also, I was told I have the option of a standard bolt on 2nd console or a removable console. I am not familiar with the Cat removable, though I am with the Phoenix removable console. Is the Basscat one as slick as the Phoenix?Thanks for any opinions.

Its a solid mount on the console and no room for vibration. The seats on a 2015 should be a Cool Touch nanotechnology material thats 20 degrees cooler than normal vinyl in same color. 2016 are not cool touch seats, the first part of 2016 and all of 2014 were.

My 2013 p2 has black seat. Never have been hot to touch but not a blue hue2013 PANTERA 2MERCURY 200 PRO XSMINNKOTA 80LB FORTREX25 fury

I have black and dark grey in my 2015 cougar FTD, they get a little warm but never hot. Black seats are easy to keep clean imo.

I have black seats,100% black and they are not cool touch and they have never been too hot.I live in ohio though,and unfortunately its just not very hot here but 2 months out of the year.the skeeter I had before had all black seats also,and they seemed a little hotter than the BCB seats.one other thing-they are sharp!

I have a 2015 with black Cool Touch seats, and they are no hotter than any other seat that I have had. My next boat will have black seats again.

Ive had black seats in my last 3 boats and Im in Texas. While theyre warmer than others theyve never been hot enough to burn and not near as hot as a chrome or stainless steel latch. I see that youre in Wisconsin. It cant be summer there for more than a few days anyways!!

When I purchased my p2 the black seats had me in doubts. But after having them. I really l8ke them. As stated easy to clean. And look good also. Why did bcb quit the cool touch seats2013 PANTERA 2MERCURY 200 PRO XSMINNKOTA 80LB FORTREX25 fury

Ive got black and red seats in my 2015 Cougar FTD. I live in Alabama and they are no hotter than the previous Bass Cat with blue and grey seats.
