Im not positive about the black lights, but I dont think you have to remove the rub rail. As for the compartement lights, you do not have to remove the black foam on the underneath side of the lid. I believe the light wires are mounted under the black foam from the factory, but you do not have to do that for a self install. Good luck with the lights. Its is not hard to add the BlackLights. They screw under the rub rail, and the wires are all tied together inside the boat. The wire feeds into a small hole in the rub rail, and enters the boat behind the rub rail insert. There is one switch, you use your accessory if it is open. Then you mount the LED lights with two screws each. Urethane the holes into the rub rail and the boat. The wires all connect together. We are supposed to be offering an aftermarket 6 (3 per side) kit for this. The Interior lights are more work, and a mercury switch pod (potted) works best that screws to the lids. BCB

Yes they can, though you may have to individually insert each wire through the deck under the insert. We have not tried it though since the insert is not as deep as that we use now your room behind the outer center is less. They will work fine though. BCB
