I have done 3 boats with bluewater LEDs. You can find light strips for a lot less money, but none compare to bluewater in build quality and customer support.I have a 2015 Eyra SP, which didnt come with deck lights or lighted compartments. I went with the standard boat package for the compartments, live wells, and cooler. In my previous boats, I made the mistake that many other people make, by just using way too many lights. They look cool, but they arent needed, they can be so bright that they wreck your night vision, and just become a cluster of wires, connectors, etc. Another reason I wanted to be somewhat minimal on this install, is that the PVC tubes that BCB lays in when building the top cap and boxes, has allowed for me to do the cleanest, most organized install that Ive done yet. You will appreciate them like I did, when you start your install! For the deck, Im using Oznium flush mount lights (similar to Rigids design). I wanted to do something other than light strips on the deck, just because they are so noticeable when not in use. They do put out a lot of light, and if I were to use light strips for the deck, they would definitely be bluewater, but these smaller flush mount lights give you a lot of options, and allow you to make them very discrete when you dont want/need a ton of light. If you arent in a huge hurry, I will be posting a topic on my install. I should be done with mine tomorrow evening. Last edited by CoosaCat.basscatowners on June 19th, 2016, 12:34 pm, edited 1 time in total.
