What size resistors do I need I dont want to use the old bulbs as the resistors plus i have taken all the original sockets out and I have asked and asked blue water for answer no response it is a 09 puma FTD with mercury smart guages Sent from my XT1080 using Yuku app

The folks at Blue Water should be able to help you out sooner. The staff here that is aware on Blue Water is out of town today.

I have had the same problem with blue water leds. They havent been responding to e-mails.

I found the post that corrects the problem with the alarm system. “I have one compartment working properly using a 870 ohm 5 watt resistor across the circuit. Alarm is working, LEDs are lighting up perfectly. The resistor puts enough load on the circuit for the security system to do its thing. I clicked on link didnt take me to nothing also do u put the resistor in each compartment or whatSent from my XT1080 using Yuku app

Yes you have to put a resister in each compartment. Do a search for blue water leds in the forum. The post is from 09 and was by fishndav. There is a diagram how to wire it and also a link to the resistor you will need. I ordered them and they where 5 bucks.

I also made my own lid switchs to replace the ones in my 07 puma.
