Boarding Ladder Help?

I ordered a boarding ladder for my 97 Classic but I am having trouble mounting it. The ladder says 99 Classic on it but I cant figure out placement. I have tried both sides of the transom and it looks like the lower mounting brackets are to wide for my transom. Does any one have a picture of a mounted ladder they could post or email? I am not about to start drilling until I know for sure its right. My next option is to go to Rockwall Marine in Dallas but they are about 2 hours away. Thanks in advance. Left top cap and transom, similar to this position. i know the ladder is a bit different, but on my old PII was mounted same place.Hope this helps !

Thanks! It looks like I may be trying to mount it to far back on the top cap and its sitting to low on the transom. Thanks again, Bill
