Boarding ladder instal

Need some help in installing a full flip down boarding ladder, on a 2011 puma advantagenot sure where to drill the holes. When holding it to the hull, with the bottom plates almost flush to the hull im not sure where to drill the holes in the top because the bolts are Two inches long and will change the angle and depth of the bottom plates when it drops into placeAny advice or hints would be greatly appreciatedThanks Scott

Ive installed one before, but its been several years. My guess is that the ladder is not fitting up snug as you might think. Start with the top bolts and move down to the bottom bolts. Once you begin tightening, the ladder will conform to the shape of you hull. The ladder is a “one size fits many” which is probably throwing you off on your thinking.

Actually they are custom built for that hull. Lets see if we can get you a template to drill it. Better safe than sorry.

BCB, a template would certainly make me breath a lot easier before drilling, thanks so much
