Guys how do you arm and disarm the boat alarm on you boat. The guy I purchased the boat from did not realize it had an alarm and does not know how to opperate it. I have an 08 Cougar FTD.
You should be able to tap the interior light wire and add the alarm pod to that set up. What year model and is this a standard Cougar or a Cougar FTD? BCB
That boat should have an alarm on it as standard equipment. Look and see if you have a Sec Sys, or SS on the small round touch pad. Then contact BCB for information as to how to arm your alarm. BCB
my boat alarm went off this last weekend at fork, sunday 5:02 am, 5 feet from my cabin door. i did get a broken perko latch, but it also saved my buddies champion, as his rock locker was partially pried open.

Hollywood, call BCB and have your serial number and they will be glad to tell you how it works. They do not give that info out on the boards. Call your dealer also if it is easier. pant 2 Bob
