Boat cover?

interested vice untrusted?I have the BCB dust cover for my PIV and it keeps all kinds of stuff out, snow, rain, leaves, etc…- Chaz

Ill throw in another vote for the dust cover. I ordered a Deans cover for my first two Cats. While it is a very well built cover, it finally dawned on me that I dont need to spend the money for one. I never tow with a cover on, just use it like you want to do at motels, etc. So for my 09CougarFTD, I bought a dust cover. It works great. Plus if you wanted to, you could tow with it on the boat as long as you had it really tight.

A dust cover is all you need then, I use a low cost cover from Wal-Mart or Ebay, a little more heavy duty to keep the rain out. I think I got my last one on Ebay for around $70.00. I do the same thing travel uncovered and cover at night.

I have a 2008 classic and will be taking it on a week long trip in March and am wondering about boat covers. I am not untrusted in a towing cover just one to put on it at night to keep the deck from being wet in the morning. Any suggestions?

My suggestion would be to not store the boat outside, but if you must from everything I have heard I would use the best cover made and that seems to be the Sunbrella Supreme.Dan

I have a 2002 Sabre. I got the boat brand new. I dont have any indoor storage for the boat. If the boat isnt on water, it is covered. I had a Canvas Aurora Boat cover. The cover did a great job protecting the boat from the sun. The cover did a pretty good job of keeping the boat dry for 10 or 11 years. Pretty good service I would say. Recently I replaced the Aurora cover with a Carver Sunbrella cover. I live in eastern NC, and we have just finished record breaking rain. The Carver cover prevented ANY rain from getting in the boat. My reason for getting the Carver rather than the Aurora was cost. Price them and you will see what I mean. I dont know how long the Carver will last, but so far so good. Be aware of this-the Aurora is a custom cover and the Carver isnt. The Aurora cover is a better cover, but sometimes a man has got to do what a man has to do.

Aurora Sunbrella Supreme is way better material than normal Sunbrella.

I have been thinking of getting a travel cover for my Cougar. BCB, do you guys handle/carry the sunbrella supreme or are these ordered directly from Aurora Canvas?
