2008 Puma Boat Horn quit working / The touch pad clicks but no horn. Everything else works on the touch pad but no horn. Do I need to get a whistle. Any ideas. Thanks in Advance.

take the horn out, get the part number off of it, look on amazon and get you another. color doesnt matter because the chrome plate will cover it….problem solved

Just making sure it was the horn. Had fun explaining why my horn wasnt working. Do the two horns on basscats part site fit any year model basscat.

Agree with scuba on this! Though I would check voltage at the wires at the horn. Get some one to press the button and check the wires for 12 volts with a volt meter. One of the horns should work. I ordered the wrong one and it didnt fit. Took the Dremel out and went to work. It sure is a lot louder than the first one.

Neither of the Horns on Basscat Boat Parts looks anything like what I have. The one On the 08 Puma has a chrome cover.

If theyre no louder than mine , get a whistle !! — Push the button and it just says eeeep . — No B !! — Need an air tank and a train horn !! — That would get their attention !!

My p2 had a marinco horn. It broke the cover. So I modified and mounted the innovative lighting horn. And it is louder than the marinco for sure. But to be on the safe side with the BLUE LIGHT BOAT.
