Hoping BCB can give me an answer on this… I completed my order this past week for a Sabre FTD. It will have an Evinrude Etec 150 HO on the back. When making the color choices for the boat (which consists of Silver Hull & Cap, Red Boot & Trim Stripe & Starlight Blue Hull & Cap Inserts) I asked about the bezels on the gauges/console. Asking if they could be Red Trim & chrome/silver since the cap will be silver. I was told that the bezels will be matched to the boat but the top trim color will be GOLD…??? I also was told that I did not have a choice on this. Is this in fact the case? My salesman mentioned it was because of BC and how they outfitted rigs with Evinrude on the back…. I really am hoping this is not in fact the case. But I would like to get an answer directly from BCB – its a lot of money to spend and have something so tiny not be able to match the boat that anyone getting in the boat will notice…??? The Cougar FTD the dealer had with a similar color scheme was setup with the gold trimmed bezels and to be honest it looked really goofy…it was the FIRST thing I noticed in fact and said so to my dealer… Please let me know if this is the case, or if I can specify some type of preference on my order – just really hoping something so tiny can be matched to the rest of the boat. I know the silver is available as I have seen it on plenty of other BC boats. Sorry to post this here on the boards, but I couldnt find a “contact link” on the home page otherwise that is the route I would have gone. Thanks, Halls
Sounds like an excellent reason to go with that Merc 150 or 175 ProXS Just kidding and I cant help to much here but the new rudes I have seen have all had the gold bezel. Take care and it sounds like a unique color scheme. I cant wait to see it. Judd Lasiter
Some of it may have to do with the dark gauge faces of the “Rude” gauges, but they do look good, and will add some to your color combination. I wouldnt change anything, sounds like a great looking boat ! Good luck, D.
Hoping I can get an official answer on this from Bass Cat Boats….one way or the other…
Just a thought, but have you called the factory…870-481-5135? They may be able to help, just let them know which dealership you ordered from, maybe they can pull the order ticket and get your info to you. Hope this helps. Sounds like a nice color combo and I am interested in your Etec performance. Good luck.96 Eyra/12 Mercury 175 Pro XS with 2015 single axle trailer2017 Victory Gunner
Hoping I can get an official answer on this from Bass Cat Boats….one way or the other… I figure your dealer will be in touch with you on this, with an answer, or explanation of what is available, and why. BCB always has a reason for how things are done, and im sure this case will be similar. Good luck with your new boat ! D.
We went directly to ur dealerships when we established the gauge selection for BRP. Originally we used Admiral gauges and tried to offer a match for BRP. We can not order variety of gauges for one engine line, so the decision among dealers was to go with the black gold series. That is the basis of the decision, it was the strongest BRP dealerships at that time. The bezels around the gauges generally match the decals and boat colors. On a Red, White, Silver and Blue combination, we would have to see what they go with on the bezels. Our thoughts are Red or Blue with the gold trimmed gauges. Though production has a standard that was set, and we would have to ask them? BCB

Thats what I was told as well. I guess I was just wondering if there was a way to get silver trimmed bezels on a blue or red so as to better match the boat. I think the Gold will look tacky with nothing else on the boat that color.
