That makes perfect sense. I just have not yet been to a ramp where its benefit would be experienced. My Cougar FTDs original owner lived in Mississippi near Ross Barnett.
There should be a hitch pin with a ball keeper to position it for loading and sitting position. There also should be a rubber bungee to hold it down or loading, then the pivot cams into place.
I dont have any of that stuff. Might be why it is frustrating me. By hitch pin to you mean a trailer hitch pin? Are those standard items I can pick up or do I need to order those from Pete?
