A switch panel is available that will interchange with some components. There are functions in the 400 dash not crossing into other technology. The 400 dash was not bad and not great in durability. You can visit with service and see how they can assist. Be sure you check all the terminal block and wires for power behind the unit and off the transom. Often those are the culprit and not the dash.
