BP100-BP101 to A10 conversion pics who has any?

Does anyone have pics of a conversion kit they have installed . I have one on order for my 96 Eyra and would like to see what it looks like completed in a boat.

I dont have pics yet, and I apologize for hi-jacking your post, but I was wondering what the best way to cut the mounting brackets for the A10 conversion as required in the intructions. I just received my conversion kit and Im not sure I have the appropriate tool to cut the brackets. Ill make a HD or Lowes run if needed. Ill post some pics when complete (either tomorrow or Thurs night).

There are brackets that hold each gauge in place. The bracket has to be cut to account for the thickness of the console on one side. The directions are linked to the parts page.Last edited by rlb8s on May 20th, 2009, 2:24 pm, edited 1 time in total.

I looked at the manual you mentioned. All that has to be cut are the aluminum U-bracket that hold the instruments in place. A hacksaw should do nicely.

Aceman, Got some pictures this weekend, Ill have them posted tomorrow My data cable is at the office. Turned out pretty good! I did some customization to install it. I used bolts and drilled (Must say BCB uses GOOD steel for the dash plate, it is strong!). I ended up making brackets and bolting the dash in place. Ill get them post for you in the morning…

Here are some pictures, Sorry some turned out blurry… There are a few of the X-27c and 3000 gps antenna I installed as well…. I mounted the dash a little different, I (well Dad and I) made some mounting brackets and drilled three(3) holes to mount with bolts…Must say BassCat uses GOOD steel on the dash plate!

Wow that looks great. I am really impressed with how it looks in the dash with all of the other gauges. Makes it look a whole bunch newer to me. How long did it take you start to finish in hours?

I already had BP100 out, after drilling holes for new gauges (volts/trim) I would say only a couple of hours. It didnt take to long… I did run into one problem. The wiring harness where everything plugs together (the brownish color plug there are two of them) I had two wires wanting to come out, so I needed up having to by pass the connection and wire it straight through. There is a purple and Brown/white wire that needs to tie into the key (just match the wire colors together and splice them in), well I didnt have a brn/wht wire coming out of the key. Of course the brn/wht is for your bilge pump. I called BCB this morning it (brown/white wire) just needs to be on a wire that is hot all the time so the bilge will work. But over all install is easy.
