Brake light out?

Running light works, but left brake light and I even think the left blinker isnt working on my pantera trailer? I think its an issue with my truck plug because my previous boat had same issue? Any troubleshooting tips?

Cros the plug over and be sure it is in your truck, by using the opposite color (green) pin and plug it into the yellow trailer pin. If that works then odds are the truck harness or truck has an issue. Just turn the plug 90 degrees and only use the one pin while it is connected to the truck.

Check the fuses on your truck.Look for the fuses for the trailer harness.Sometimes there separae circuits.

Just had a similar issue on my 06 Puma trailer. My Right rear LED tail tight would light faintly and right rear marker light would not light at all. I checked the grounds and all were OK. I swapped the LED lights from left to right same issue so it wasnt the lights. Grabbed my Digital Volt Meter and found a huge voltage (5V) drop in the three prog plug that plugs into the light assembly. Luckily I had a spare 3 prong plug and wired it in and it fixed my problem. It would be worth checking for on your trailer?

Get you a cheap test light. You can get them almost anywhere. Then you can test each pin. And for trouble shooting Im with Frank, check your fuses. Make sure the wire isnt lose on the back of the plug. Do you have a flat only? Or a round to flat? The connection could be lose in your round to flat plug. So use your test light to check the truck first, and if its working, then plug the round to flat in and check it at the flat…. But a test light is cheap, and still a good idea to have around, and if its not that issue, then youll need one anyway. so go buy one. Theyre like $2.13 PIV w/ 200 MercIG: WarriorRiverCustomRods

Your trailer plug left and right blinker will have separate fuses and brke light for trailer is tied into it!

Thanks guys I think I found it. The fuse in the cab of the truck for the left blinker was blown, I forgot about that fuse panel in there
