I need to rotate my trailer front all the way around until my grab post touches the boat rub rail. The first time I did this I snapped the blue wire (backup lights) somewhere in the straight part of trailer before wiring breaks off two directions. Ive noticed my brake line wraps around very tight during this process. I feel fortunate I havent ruptured it. I wince every time I have to do this. I decided I dont want this stress on the line or myself anymore. The main wiring plug coming into the front of the trailer has two screws in it where its attached to inside of trailer frame very close to where trailer separates when pulled apart. When I take those screws out and unplug and move once attached plug 2 inches toward front of trailer, it allows the brake line comfortable space to wrap around and not be so tight. I dont understand why they didnt mount the plug an inch or two further toward the front to give brake line suitable space to fit in trailer grove and wrap comfortably like I have it now. But as Ive learned about other features on BCs, there is a reason for everything. I dont want to have to remount that main plug every time I prepare to tow. But the factory drilled those 2 holes in the steel trailer. Can I just let that plug lay lose in there after I plug it in and hook up? There appears to be plenty of length and stretch in the main trailer curly wire plug that goes to vehicle.
