Was wondering if anyone close to the Potomac had a 26p or 27p Bravo FS or an XS with the extra PVS holes that I could run. Doing some testing on my Eyra before I make up my mind on propping. Ive tried a 26p Fury, 27p Tempest Plus and a 26p Bravo XS. I like the Bravo XS but the holeshot is lacking and want to see if the extra PVS holes do the trick before I send off my XS for the extra holes. Any assistance great appreciated!

were are you sitting? Im in joppa md. Ive got a 26fury 27 fury just worked with extra holes drilled, and the 27xs with extra holes that still in the box, never opened yet

Im in Springfield, VA about 2 hours south of you on a good traffic day. Id be interested in running that 27xs or purchase if you are looking to sell it.

How does the Bravo and the Fury match up in pitch? 26=26, or different?

I can turn the 26 Bravo to more RPMs than the 26 Fury on the upper end. Fury is faster but I like the driveability of the Bravo better.

So if my Fury 24 basically pushes the Rev limiter I would need to try a 25 Bravo most likely? I also am not as concerned with speed. My friend with a Stratos said his holeshot improved with the Bravo over the Fury.Those Bravos are expensive! Am I right that most bassboat applications prefer the XS over the FS?

Im no expert but I would try a 25P Bravo. As far as XS vs FS, Im not sure that it matters other than you may need to get the extra set of PVS holes put in to work the holeshot on either one of those. Best thing to do is pick one up and run it for awhile to see if it performs where you want it to and then send it off to a good prop man for adjustments if needed.

They are the same prop except for the exhaust holes, the XS has 1″ non adjustable holes, the FS has 3/4″ plug adjustable PVS holes. Both will need to have the extra PVS holes drilled in them, then adjust as needed.BrianBrianHAWG Hunter2013 BassCat Eyra2013 Mercury 250 Pro XS Gen2 L/U
