BCB is 110% Correct, simply go in your Merc Manual, and study the process, honestly most guys DONT do this right, as BCB stated its pretty straight forward. After your 10hr COMPLETE break in its a good idea to dump the Lower unit fluid, check the bolt tightness, and a simple rigging check over. Always use Merc Quikleen (as directed) in our fuel, some guys like Sea Foam also, Im not sure if BCB recommends a Auxillary Fuel Water separator but I seem to think the $50 may save these DFI engines. On Mercs its VERY IMPORTANT when the water is cool, to let her warm up slow, DO not give her until its fully warmed up, Sherm will tell ya what happens, POOF…… Remember to take that HUGE GRIN off of your Mug come break in day, it will be alot of fun.. Just go through that Manual and ask questions if needed. BrannonYour Signature …
