Well the good news is that the spring cruise went well, and everything on my Puma works.The bad news is that when I was winching the boat the last few feet onto the trailer (very low water levels prevented power loading all the way), two gear teeth on the winch broke off.What are my options for fixing? Can I just replace that part or do I need a whole new winch? Also, what weight capacity should I look for to be sure I get a sturdy enough part? Thanks in advance

You are going to have a hell of a time winching that up. If you cant power load, hopefully you can back trailer deeper into the water. Also wet the bunks before loading to lessen the friction when loading which is a good idea when ever you load no matter the method.

Replace the winch. They are not expensive and other teeth may have been weakened from the strain.Best to follow the advice given above to prevent a repeat. I sometimes have to back down until the tailpipe is in the water if the water is low and the ramp has a shallow incline.

Replace with like if you have trailer step and be sure to put it on crooked

Easy to replace the winch. I just had to do it on my buddys bug boat that I had borrowed and broke the teeth off in a situation like yours.
