I keep throwing buddy bearing off of one of the trailer wheels…………anyone have any idea of how to keep them on.

Sounds like you need a new hub. BCB might have a suggestion for you in a bit. Judd Lasiter

Have you tried to score them with an axe or something so that it actually “spreads” the cap. It will make them fit tighter and they wont be as likely to fall out on you. I just lay a hatchet across it give a pretty good lick with a hammer, then do the same from the other direction. It works!

We do suggest scoring the hub with a chisel or screwdriver, and also setting it square and using a block with one sharp Large hammer tap to reset a buddy. The tap on method across from side to side will result in loss of the cap. Also we do not suggest putting grease in those zerks on a Bearing Buddy. BCB

I have not had a problem with the set on my cat but I have in the past. After they have been knocked of by striking from side to side to remove they get a little out of shape on the leading edge (End that fits in hub) here is a neat trick that will fix them right up and make them fit allot tighter. set the leading end on top of your 2″ trailer hitch ball and strike it with a dead blow hammer or use a block of wood and hammer. this will put it back in round and spread it out a little for a tighter fit.
