Building a flipping deck insert

My 96 PII has one from the factory. Call Bass Cat and see if they still have them. Mine adds basically 2 extra compartments but then also provides another seat for my family if I want to remove it and it just snaps in. You can probably buy cheaper than you can build. Good Luck

I borrowed some of Alabass idea and went with a solid one piece for my 96 Eyra, which has a similar configuration, the tackle tray in front of the console. However, I go about 325lbs, so I went 3/4 inch plywood and covered in fiberglass.Aside from the glass/resin, plywood, I added the straps/snaps for holding in place like the one I got from the factory for my 97PII. Add that to the $4k I spent on the surgery for ruptured bicep tendon repair on this project, and mine is the “highest priced, one of a kind, homemade(will never do that again)” deck insert around……………96 Eyra/12 Mercury 175 Pro XS with 2015 single axle trailer2017 Victory Gunner
