Bunk replacement issue.

Ok what am I doing wrong? I ordered new bunks frm BCB about a year ago and have just now gotten around to putting them on. I am having serious problems getting the 2 long ones to align with the welded on tabs on the trailer. It seems that I need to bend them sideways about 4 inches” and before you ask I matched the new one to the old one before attempting a fix the taper is at the front on the outside edge. Is this what I need to do should I try the bend with a come-along?Irv

I forgot to say it is a 2000 Cougar trailer.

May I suggest calling service at BCB on this one. They provide excellent guidance on things like this.

I changed bunks on p2 trailer , attached the rear then had 2 people sit on middle to bend down then used impact driver to it in lag screws quickly. All lined up perfectly this way. Middle then frontLast edited by scubaman154 on December 21st, 2012, 2:19 am, edited 1 time in total.

No, your right, we pull them in with ratchet straps to contour the hull.
