When buying a new boat, you pretty much know what you are getting from the BCB factory. Grade A quality, right?How do you know if you are getting that in a used boat? Will a BCB dealer inspect a used boat before a purchase?Tony

I am sure that any BCB dealer would be willing to check out a used BCB boat but I would not expect them to put time into a boat that they are not selling without a small fee for their time. You just have to remeber that all Bass Cat boats where new at one time so the quality is there…the question is…how well did the previous owner treat it. I agree with LA. You should not expect a dealer to do work for nothing and checking one out depending on how in depth you want to go should warrant at least an hour of pay. Im sure many dealers would look at one if you told them that you would pay them for their services.

That is exactly why reputable individuals, dealer pro-staffers, and guys like Phil get top dollar on their used rigs. THEY TAKE CARE OF THEM ! That is why you try to buy from someone you know, or know of. Always get references, make phone calls, and personally inspect the rig, remaining warranty, and history of the boat. Few of us take care of our rigs as well as Phil, The Hammer, and Luke do, but we all should try !
