In a short period of time Ill be picking up my PIV. That being said I am moving up from a regular Sabre. I would appreciate any pics how you organize your boats. For instance how do you use the front compartments that saddle the net storage boxes? How many 3700 style plano boxes do you store in your main front compartment? How many BassCat tackle organizers do you use? I am ready to learn from you pros! Flyswatter
MY 2007 PANTERA IV ANCHOR,TOOL BOX,SPOT LIGHT ETC IN THE REAR PASSENGER SIDE BOX. I WEIGH 275 SO I WANT TO OFFSET THE WEIGHT. PARTNERS TACKLE GOES IN THE REAR DRIVERS BOX. RODS IN BOTH ROD BOXES. RIGHT FRONT BOX BESIDE THE NET GOES LIFE VESTS. LEFT IS JUNK FOOD, FENDER GUARDS, WALLET, GLASSES ETC. STILL HAVE PLENTY ROOM IN TACKLE BOX

This is basically what I carry, its not alot of stuff but its plenty for me, I may add a few more things for tournies depending on the lake. I just lined the insides of the boxes with Cooks have spinners, buzzers and jigs on the right and plastics on the left, the big box in the front carries everything else, the 2 boxes on the back deck carry life vest dock line, rain gear, save face BBS and towel. I like it cause its neat and things are easy to find. Hope this helps.08 Bass Cat Pantera IV 08 Mercury 200HP OPTI 08 NISSAN TITAN CC 4×4 07 POLARIS OUTLAW 500
WAY WAY TOO ORGANIZED THERE 69!
F69, Wow! that is organized….. You should be the poster child for BassCat tackle organizing. From your pics what size are your BassCat tackle organizers? Ill need them for my boat. Thanks a bunch. Flyswatter
Here is how mine is organized for now (ever changing!). Both front compartments have Plano 3700 boxes with hard baits organized by – topwater/shallow runners, square bills, traps and mini cranks, jerkbaits, flat sided cranks, 3-8 foot runners, 8-12 foot runners, big deep divers (DD-22 etc). At least 8 boxes sometimes more. Also put jackets or other cool weather clothes here. Middle compartment – all other tackle such as jigs, spinnerbaits, plastics, plus box with scale, cull tags, balance beam, markers and such. This one will vary more than others as I add or delete stuff for certain times of the year (such as 10″ worms in warmer weather, football jigs and such). I use several sizes of Plans here 3700 and larger plus soft plastic bags. Day box – marker pens, pen and paper, scent, small camera, gloves, sunscreen. Back passenger box – Food!, weather radio, first aid etc. Back driver box – Partner gear. In my case that is my wifes stuff. I also have tools, livewell net, rope, weight in bag in the back compartment in front of side gas tanks. Rain gear and such go in starboard rod locker. This is just the basics but pretty well covers it. All up I have weighted the total at 125-150 pounds which is actually not very heavy!
That is the large tackle organizer in the big box I think it has 7 trays, the small box on the left has the Cooks go to system in it with 2 hangers on each side, the small box on the right has 3 Cooks tackle systems in it with spinners and buzzers on on side and jigs on the other. the PIV will hold a ton of stuff for sure and it seems the more you organize it the more you can hold.08 Bass Cat Pantera IV 08 Mercury 200HP OPTI 08 NISSAN TITAN CC 4×4 07 POLARIS OUTLAW 500
Here is my P4 Main tackle storage: holds all my hardbaits, frogs/toads, jig trailers, scissors and terminal tackle Left of the net storage has my worms and craws in tuperware boxes and a cd holder for my spinner baits Right side of net holder has clear water lake worms in tupperware, and boat fender, maker buoys, and weigh bag Aft port side stoarge has helmet tools, culling beam, plug knocker fire extinguisher. Starboard side aft locker has life vest, towels, rainsuit. Partners tackle goes in there once vest are removed Port rod locker with all my crankbait and worm/jig rods Starboard rod locker for all my top water, spinner bait, and frog rods Last edited by JSLAW on July 21st, 2009, 4:44 pm, edited 1 time in total.
