Caracal 2nd console, easily removable?

How does the passenger console in the Caracal attach? Can it be removed and reinstalled at will, or does it screw in with screws that will wear out over time and should be left either in or out for long periods?Thanks.

I would imagine, since its a premium model, you can get it with the easy removable passenger console or with the console that is bolted into the boat.

You can purchase it either way. Many one, two and three year ownerships get removable consoles for resale. Those long term owners must contemplate if they use it as a coule, with children or go solo and really dont care about the passenger. In conversation, the team tournament anglers often say if he wants a console let him pay for it!

Ive seen several models with the removable console…I believe there are 3 attachment points using large clamp screw/bolts which are under the console and the install/removal process takes only a couple minutes. The attachment points interface is very clean, using simple black grommets.

I have the removable console in my Puma FTD, I leave it out 99% of the time, but if I want to put it in it only takes 5 minutes or less by myself.

my console is permanent because my wife said soand I guess if she is permanent then the console should reflect that

I have the removable console in my eyra. The only time I take it out is when I fish 3 in the boat. With 3 it just takes up too much space. With 1or2 I find the storage space of the console out weighs the negatives. In any case, if you are getting a dual make sure to get the removable version. My wife likes the open / no console, so its easy for me to leave it out.
