Caracal owners – 45 or 52 inch TM shaft

Ive got a 52″ shaft in my Caracal. It was on the boat when I bought it from Sherm. Seems to work fine. It doesnt get in the way of any storage box lids and comes in handy when its rough on the water.

Not an issue in real shallow stuff. I just raise the shaft up. Actually, I normally have it set for shallow water most of the time, so I seldom have to move it. On my rig, with the Motor Guide, you cant stow it if you have it set to run deep. The motor wont sit on the bracket.

I have a 45″ on mine and dont have any issues.
