Caracal Storage Length?

I noticed on the Boat pages it shows the storage length of a Caracal at: 24 8″ but it shows it with swing away tongue at: 24 10″??? What gives??? This can not be right! Can it? What about an accurate length? Boat pages on the Sabre FTD still shows the minimum storage with swing away tongue at 19 8″ which is off considerable and has never been corrected. Lots of guys use this measurement to see what will fit in their garage/storage area. They should be able to get a measurement that is relatively close. Come On Man!!Dan

lol… Min. for a Sabre, without having to turn it on an angle is 21-3″ with the tongue opened….I have pictures they can borrow… You could PROBABLY squeek it on in there at 21-2″ or MAYBE even 21-1″ but it would be TIGHT.13 PIV w/ 200 MercIG: WarriorRiverCustomRods

My Sabre FTD with tongue swung open, but leaving trolling motor alone was 20 8″. Turning the motor all the way left or right was basically no difference. That was a Merc 150HP 4 Stroke. It is only a foot off.DanLast edited by MeanV2 on September 9th, 2015, 11:12 pm, edited 2 times in total.

No proof reading? Hopefully it gets corrected quicker than the Sabre FTD measurement has. That has been wrong for over a year.Dan

I call a spade a spade, give props when they are due. Do you think it is that complicated to change the figures to the correct ones? If you bought a boat and then found out it liked a foot fitting in your garage you might not be Happy. I drink the KoolAid I just do not get drunk on it. If we get so blind we can not see the faults how can we improve? I own the best Bass Boat on the market! A Bass Cat!!Dan

The error was confirmed here a few months back and they intended to get it fixed when the new pages launch after dealer meeting.

Thats awful big talk from a guy who operates a sales website that doesnt maintain forum.Aint a koolaid issue at all. Guy wants to get mad about stickers and latches and other things on a new boat Im good with that- right thing to do.Its an issue to me of not recognizing/respecting that few bass boat companies(and archery product companies?) are willing to PAY to stick it out every day just to let folks take them to the mat publicly to make things better. My office doesnt. Yours doesnt either.If someone saw an error on your website would you rather they call you to get it straight or hang it out here? No doubt that business is your identity just like this one is for a number of folks(not me- I dont even own a boat).Like I said- latches, stickers, other things on the boat- I get it. Makes everyone better.A 1% error on a boat length? Man I dont see it being something that requires more than an email to the company or a simple statement here.C.O.D. Jr. III
