What is anyone doing to replace this decal I dont see it for sale anymore will it cleanly peel off and can I just replace it with one on the store for sale? The Carpet is in great shape and with a shampoo pops right up so I hate to have to replace it. Thanks

We have trimmed these applicaes off and they were done by the carpet company. The flocking can be trimmed with a sharp round knife carefully. It will leave a mark that will require about a year to just wear in and hide into existing pattern.

Is there a replacement that will at least mostly cover the old decal area where there will likely be fade and remnants of the old decal? Thank you

The oval will get close.

that one is in VERY good shape and back when these were common we used Large Sharpie (big aluminum body) felt marker to recolor several that were in this condition.

I was going to do that with the fish but was skeptical of the quality of doing it on those tiny letters? Did you do it on those as well?

Amazed at how easily you can restore this look. I might do one more coat of red but I appreciate the recommendation.
