Rodney, the oils of the Bang have probably dissolved the carpet glue. If you think the oil will dry, the glue may reconstitute to a solid, holding the carpet in place. I had a similar ocurrance using brake cleaner as a cleaner on some spilled gulp alive. carpet wrinkled up after a bit and I thought I had really messed up. What I did was to put some “cedar breather” scraps( I will explain ) on the affected area with weights on top and low and behold a few days later carpet was flat and secure. Cedar Breather is like liteweight kitchen green scrubby or plastic steel wool. the point is to alow air flow between the carpet and the weight so the carpet can dry while being held flat. If you cant come up with something to accomplish this ( 1 deduction from your man card ) I can send you some of the stuff I used. Also if the oils dont dry you might try a little brake cleaner in the affected area to dissolve the oils and MAYBE it will dry. Try the weight trick first. Seriously ,if you need some of the stuff I used ,drop me a line with the size of the affected area and your address. n.b whatever you use make sure it will not bleed and leave a stain.Bob
