caught a 21 lb sack on sam rayburn saturday

wind was blowing hard out of the south, so we fished the cove behind the pavilion and along the dam for a few hours around noon before heading home. bagged a limit that went over 20 lbs with the big fish being just over six pounds. go figure….we only caught four total bass for the entire tourney on thur and fri, and they weighed only 6.5 lbs combined….tell me God doesnt have a sense of humor.any chance we can make this a THREE DAY EVENT next year

Catching all those released fish. Haha. Its pretty much like fishing in front of Cypress Bend on Toledo. I new the fish would eat Saturday just alittle windy. If that tourney would have been Saturday and Sunday you would have seen some huge bags!!

Its the given “Laws of th Outdoors”. If it were a 3 day event, you would have had same outcome and when you went out for fun on the 4th day, you would have sacked em. Kinda like the length limit: if there is a 15″ length limit you catch a boat load of 14s. If it is a 14″ length limit, catch a boat load of 13s. Kinda like hunting, when your deer hunting you see bunches and bunches of turkeys but when you are turkey hunting it is deer after deer….”Laws of the Outdoors”

Too bad you werent playing in a two day local golf scramble if you know what I mean
