Nice fish! The ice is clearing out here in Nebraska getting the boat out tomorrow cant wait! My primary bait that will be on my deck for at least a month will be a jig

Flipping an 8 pounder into the boat takes guts. Fun to watch and you have bigger stones then me. Id have been half way in the water to get my hands on something that size! Of course they are pretty rare here in the NE.

Of course they are pretty rare here in the NE.I know, at first I didnt realize how big it was…I thought it was about a 4-pounder. Then once I started to boat flip it, I realized how big it was and it was too late to stop, so I just rolled with it…lol.
