my boat is cavitating when first taking off. the mercury guy here said there is nothing wrong with my motor, it is a 2000 merc 200hp V6 if it helps. i havnt messed with my jackplate since i got the boat 3 years ago and this problem has only been the last few months. can this be caused by the jackplate needing to be readjusted? the merc guy says no but i am begining to question his truthfulness with me. any info or ideas would be great. george
