How about that center seat post option (Your vote has been cast.)Total votes: 127 I use my center seat position to store my butt seat. 32(25%) I do not use my center seat position. 41(32%) I use mine for family and third angler seating. 37(29%) I wish it were not there. 11(9%) I wish my rig had a third seat position. 6(5%)Do you use your center seat position in your boat? The intent was to stow the butt seat from the bow when fishing calmer water without it being a distraction. Then it would be handy when the wind picked up. Also it is used to fish three people and for guides as well.It is another item we have that others often do not, and we are assessing the needs for this position. We do not have a center seat on some models now, though all upper tier model do. So do you use the center seat on your rig? BCB

Dont use it but then again I have yet to use any of the seats.So…is there venison in the freezer?

I dont use any seats. Wish it were not there and the center lid came all the way back. I trip on it (I shuffle my feet), and it hits me in the butt when I sit on the edge of the compartment when I am trying to change baits (cougar ftd). Your Signature …

When I do use my butt seat I most definitely use that center seat position to clear my view when running down the lake. Its a nice touch in my opinion.

I only use my butt seat when it very ruff (Lake Champlain ruff) and I stow it in a rod locker when running. I have never used my center seat post.

I only carry one butt seat and that is on the back deck for my partner.With the recess front TM basin, I have no nead for one in the front. No back issues. I have had a few times when the water was rough wish I would have had a extra one up front.Ron

I never use the center seat position. If I wasnt such a klutz and could fish without the butt seat in the front position, I would use it to store the butt seat while I was standing up front. But I just cant maintain my balance without the butt seat to lean on when I use the trolling motor. I sure wish I could though. All that being said…the center seat post being there, doesnt get in my way at all…I never even notice it at all while fishing.

Love the middle seat. I use it for the third fisherman, Forth person when just ridding.and put the front butt seat in it when I use my cover.

The 3rd seat position is a great for storing the seat as well as my little angler uses it alot. Also, you can put a reguar post from a fold down seat on the botttom of the butt seat pole and the 3rd angler has a functional butt seat.

I agree 100% with loanshark. It also helps hold up the cover during storage. Only in the roughest of water or crappie fishing with family do I use a butt seat.
