Youre the first person I ever heard with an issue with the center seat. If youre concerned call Bass Cat and ask for Scott Estes.

Thats been done Phil and is where the $350.00 quote came from. If thats the case Ill just wait for the seat to come in……may have just had a bad run on the 1st one.

Contact Service and they will take care of you. We have not had any real issues with the center seats.

i too have the snap problem, i just bought some snaps and put new ones on as needed. the rubber backing on mine has not presented problem yet. 99 JAGUAR 225 OPTIMAX

I have had a center seat for almost 2 years and I have not had a problem. When I bought mine I had to put the snap on myself and I just made it tight and have had no problems.

If you were quoted $350 for a center seat there was a misunderstanding. We also have a warranty in place for such events, and we are only about 3 to 4 weeks out on seats right now. Nothing about your post seems accurate, so we are assuming there was a misunderstanding. Contact service as mentioned above and well get your issue straightened out. BCB

Dkees, I had the same problem with the snap because we were stepping on the strap. After a couple of time I changed this out with a strap same width with a snap buckle instead, like the ones used on the straps of the boat cover. Found a new one at Walmart for $2.00 in the camping section changed it out and not had a problem since. Jack

I will call on Monday. Thanks for the ideas everyone. The warranty replacement center seat was ordered through Central Texas Marine in November of 2007. I followed up a few weeks ago and they still said it was not in on 02/28/08. When I asked how much to swap the seat they called c.s. and called me back and said $350.00. Whatever the case Ill call myself Monday and get it worked out.

Ive got an 07 PIV with a fold down center seat. Is anyone having any problems with this seat? Ive replaced the snap strap twice because the snap breaks/sticks, etc. and when folded down, the vinyl step that covers the back of the seat is peeling up again. Ive got a new one on order and have had since November (know its tough during production of new models so no jab there) but…….think it will just happen again. I asked about just getting rid of the center seat idea and going with the cup holder/console between the pass. and driver seats…….told I had to pay $350.00 for it even though I paid extra for the center seat when I bought it. Anyway, anyone experiencing the same? If so, may justify shelling out the $350.00 even though I would not be real happy about that part. Thanks

I took my center seat out of my 2015 Caracal. Colors may not match for you though. Im going to try to include a picture.

How easy is it to swap the center step to the seat? I ordered a center seat back in May but havent received it yet.
