Changed trolling motor

JUst took off my 45 inch MG109 and installed a 50 inch MG109. I dont like the prop breach in the waves so going to try this one. I will give feed back on how it works out. It does clear the rod box stowed but will be too deep in the shallows so will have to adjust on the water as needed.

I actually just changed the shaft on mine to a 50 for the same reason.i highly recommend adding a quick-slip -it is a cam lever instead of the knob and makes adjusting the height much easier,especially on rough water like Erie/St.Clair.they are available at bcb I believe,and TW.inventor is a nice fella,and a basscat guy.Matt

I liked my 52″ MK 101. Worked great. Wasnt light but it really worked well.C.O.D. Jr. III
