I am looking at a used 2012 cougar and was wandering how hard is to change electronic brands. Will holes for in dash electronics of one brand fit another comparable size brand or will you have to cover the hole and mount on the side.
You will likely have to make modifications. You dont necessarily have to cover the hole and mount elsewhere. Mount your electronics to the plate you covered the hole.
