Do I need to go to my local dealer or contact parts?I put my volt meter on it and there is two channels that are dead.pics attached
Have heard good things about customer service at Noco. Might be a faster turnaround if you contact their warranty department directly.
Plus 1 on Noco customer service. I imagine, if youre within the warrantee period, theyll have a replacement in the mail as soon as you hang up the phone.
They can handle it either way. Sorry for the issue and they can help or NOCO can help, its all up to you.
If Im reading the voltmeter correctly, the batteries are showing apx 5.65 battery voltage. It is possible they are too low for the charger to read them and turn itself on. Try jumping a known good battery to the discharged battery and see if it turns the charger on. You can also take bank one off its current battery and put bank 2 on that battery and see if bank 2 lights up, do the same for bank 3. You may have a charger issue, but with that battery voltage it indicates a battery issue.JohnJones Trolling Motor Services870 773 3474Motorguide/MinnKota/PowerPole/Lowrance/Humminbird

Something I found out on my M / K 101 , if you dont turn the switch on the pedal to ” OFF ” when not in use it keeps the speed control energized , which draws voltage ( albeit a small amount ) all the time . — This could draw them way down if stored for an extended period of time without charging — Id definitely check the batteries first , before you condemn the charger . — I speak from $325.00 dollars worth of experience . — Now I have an extra charger that works just fine . — Hoss
I will give that a try tonightthanks for the heads upMo

On any digital motor (some Motorguides have an on/off switch on the side of the footpedal), the power needs to be disconnected from the trollingmotor for both charging and safety reasons when not being used. As stated above, they (digital trollingmotors) will draw current as long as connected to a battery.JohnJones Trolling Motor Services870 773 3474Motorguide/MinnKota/PowerPole/Lowrance/Humminbird
Just to make sure I understand correctly, on the Motorguides with the on/off on the pedal, you can just turn it to off on the pedal and not have to worry about unplugging the TM. Is that correct?

Is that correct? That is correct for a digital MG. However, with a digital MK, you have to unplug it or use a battery disconnect switch. The off position on the MK does not disconnect it from the battery. This question comes up frequently over on BBC.
