I live in an appt. complex, and somebody threw a piece of chicken in my boat. Now i have ants. How do i get rid of them and what materials are safe for my boat.

clean all the food out, vacuum the ants out and the others that you miss will disappear or die from no food.

The big black ones are sweet and cruchy. Just make sure you bite them before they bite you. Sorry to hear about the vandalism. No respect… I think I would try to hide trail camera to keep an eye on my boat.
