i know another prop question, i have a 2009 classic with a 200 opitmax. 3.0L just wanted to ask what most guys are running, for a prop i got mine with a 25 tempest does this sound righ, i thought it should be around a 26. i would lke to try a trophy, just because i run big water some times, might get a better bite, what pitch is right for this rig, and does anyone have anyu problems putting the boat back on the tralier at all

I have a 06 Classic/Optimax 200 bought earlier this year. It also had a 25 Tempest on it but it was too small. I talked a lot with a guy in my area that has a Classic with a 200 Yamaha and he runs a 26 Fury most of the time and a 27 Tempest during some of the cold months. I tried the 26 Fury and it made a world of difference in the performance of my boat. Better holeshot, midrange and top end speed over the 25 Tempest. I am still playing with my engine height but so far I love the Fury on my boat.Troy West

what pitch does bcb recomend for a trophy on a 09 classic with a 200 optimax

A 26 trophy gets into the rev limiter at about 70 on my P II. A 25 tempest has a much better holeshot and will push above 72 on the top end. I ordered a 26 tempest on Friday.
