Its been taking 17 + to win here lately. There have been quite a few lmb over 5 with big bass pushin 7 on several tournys. Been catchin some good spots as well as good numbers of smallmouth. There is alot of water to cover and can be tough to figure out. I am finally making some headway after fishing it for a long time. Some days i can catch em pretty good, others not so much. Today seemed to be a tough bite based on the weights but a few were on em. I think first was around 17 and second was 14 something. Most of the recent tournaments that ive seen you better bring 15+ if you wanna get a sniff of the money! We were 5th in points in this winter series but probly took a bit of a hit today as we finished somewhere around 20th out of 50+ boats. You can look at this link which has some results for some of the tournys run on bull and norfork. Todays results should be up there sometime monday afternoon. http://www.rnhmarine.com/Tournament%20Results.htm
I dont fish tournaments but I do enjoy fishing at Bull Shoals. I am hoping to get down to the Lead Hill area on Monday. Im sure yall launched somewhere near the dam but I was wondering what water temps were looking like. I know when I was on the lake a couple weeks back they were still 55-56. Im guessing they are probably in the upper 40s now. Thanks.
21 degrees yesterday when Dbasket and I fished Greeson.46-48 water temps. Theyre still biting! Yall head out!Last edited by clownshoes on December 20th, 2010, 2:39 pm, edited 1 time in total.C.O.D. Jr. III
