Im curios on the storage between the Puma AE and Cougar. How does it compare to the triton, do they have the molded slots to place the 3700 series boxes or are they lose. Need a little help there is not a good detail on the Bass Cat web site showing all the boxes opened. Need help Thanks[url=mailto:[email protected]][email protected][/url]
i do not believe the boxes come standard with tackle organizers but they can be added at factory or aftermarket from many different sources including bass cat. look on the parts page and you will see two different sizes available.Treat everyday like it might be the last
All Triton boxes are plastic drop in type. Bass Cat compartments are all fiberglass and are part of the boat which adds strength and support to the whole unit. Bass Cat has platic trays glued into one of the front deck storage compartments to handle Plano 3700 boxes.
There are Coverlay style custom molded insert trays that are urethaned into the storages for Plano style boxes. They have #3700 normal slots and one large.
Hey Steve, the rear compartments have no organizers but dont need then since they are sized well and your boxes will fit nicely. I too came from a Toon and havent missed the molded organizers one bit.JP
