just noticed on my 2012 EYRA that the compartment lites flicker when theres no power to the system and the lids are up checked connections all tight that I can see is there a dedicated ground and power for these all the compartments do the same thing. on a side note theres a small round container on the left side inner gear locker has a plastic cap that turns off and a spring inside is this for paper work?

normal. after a period of time they will go completely off. part of the security system. you answered your second question.

Odds are you could have a door light switch remaining active. Once all the lids are closed the system should reset.

According to Richard in the parts dept at Basscat, flickering of the lights is normal if your master power is in the off position and one of your compartments is open. They will remain steady with the master in the on position. Pro-Tec Productswww.protecproducts.com

thank you all for info just not used to all the upgrades my 2000 sabre wasnt as complicated has a x135 in dash and no compartment lites this new one has hds 8 and 10 with more bells and whistles then a lexus im sure I will be asking a whole lot of questions next few weeks read about the touch pad last nite going to try and read up on the alarm system for the boat tonite. I do have a question for bass cat about the middle seat replacement or cover replacement I see on parts that my center seat is not there only the carpeted step do I have to call or is there something I missed
