Few questions about the install of this unit…1. Can it be installed in the console of a 2003 P4?2. If i go the route of a ram mount what is put in place of the hole my 332 leaves behind? I am sure some blank is screwed in but i have not seen one yet. Would this blank be strong enough to mount the ram mount to?3. Can you guys show me pics of your 7″ or larger Humminbird units?Thanks
I made a piece of white oak stained and finished with polyeurethane screwed that to the original holes for the 332 and then screwed the ram mount to the wood looks really professional and very slick.Irv
If you own a P4 then it will fit flush in the console. Same console as the current Cougar FTD, Puma, Puma FTD. You might want to contact BCB and buy the plate that will allow it to flush mount.
