Could Bass Cat please look at designing a kit to make it easier to install and remove consoles on all boats? I know they have them for some of the newer ones. It would be nice to be able to quickly remove and install them for different seasons and use. I see a lot of removal questions and I sure would like it.
Thats been the only thing keeping me from ordering one for my PII. I love the room of the single when I fish alone, but the cold weather is hard on my son so I think Ill just have to order it and live with it.
This sounded a lot easier than it was to accomplish but I did finally install threaded aluminum plates behind front and sides and it worked out great. It also showed me why it would be hard to make a kit because the holes and plates have to line up perfect. I used a rubber material around console and held plates in place with windshield adhesive and can remove it in less than ten minutes.
