Not too bad. You might have to take the vent off starboard rear gunnel to gain acces and allow for straight pulls. Tape new cable to old cable at control and pull backwards. Save you some time there. Good luck..

They install easily if that’s the same part. Older boats may take more to cut and install the new valve.

Be sure the arm is the right configuration for your boat, they are color coded. Also the flapper is at the right angle and direction matching the original.
