The cooler drain is a straight shot, though if the cooler were put on 180 degrees it might almost contact the floor. Once the boat were assembled it would not be repairable. That did occur on a very limited basis of a couple of boats. Really just a very few as in less than 6. If your boat were one of those then you could be almost contacting the floor on the drain and the trash have built up in there. If so then a power washer in the drain hole would be our suggestion.
