Nice boat and seems like a very good price.
Thanks fishntrox. It is a gently used boat. We only get 6 or 7 months of use up here in the northeast, so the engine hours are usually pretty low.
Sale pending.
Boat looks familier. Were you up near White Hall NY fishing Champlain mid August a few weeks back before a tournament? We chatted before driving through the hellacious storm heading back north. I was right behind you through the narrows while all the Rangers parked! That thing flies if it was you. I couldnt keep up.
You may have seen me on Champlain or Bomoseen, but not in August. I was on Candlewood most of August. I don’t see too many Bass Cats in my area, but have chatted with a couple Puma owners and a PIV owner.
OK. The guy I chatted with had Cougar with similar color scheme/Yamaha and was from western CT. They had a tournament 8/20 and 8/21 out of Ti. Ran into him Friday when practicing. We did not a fun ride from White Hall back to Ti area. Good luck with your sale and picking out a new ride.
Was he a real big guy? The only other guy around here is a guy I know ( Harry) with a Cougar with a 250 Yammie. I know he was up there fishing NEBA in August, and won with a very impressive bag.
Yeah, sounds like him. Big bushy hair and beard. He put on his Save Phace and powered through that storm in shorts and tee shirt. I put on my rain gear first and put stuff awayt so he had a 5 min head start. He must of froze his N–s off! I caught up to him in the narrows (not faster boat, local knowledge of the river. I wanted to pass him and lead him out cause he was on the wrong side of the buoys a couple times but I knew he didnt know I was behind him so I didnt want to risk a collision so I followed him. When we got into more open water he was GONE! Man that thing would fly. I was low on gas so I kept it at about 50, he had to be doing over 70. Man he had to be cold. First time I used my Save Phace and it made all th difference. Him and I were the only boats running, all the rangers (there were several) were idling or beached! If you see him ask him about that fun ride. Wind, lightening, white caps on the river (never saw that before), plus pleasure boats to drive around. Fun fun. I doubt he knows I was no more then a few boat lengths behind him for a few miles. If you are up on Champlain, keep an eye out and say hello. I fish out of Buoy 39 marina across from Fort T. May be up weekend of FLW event but not sure how many will run south with all the debris in the water.Brian
