Hey guys not sure if this is where I should post this or not but I thought Id see if anyone was interested before I put them on Ebay. I have 4 Shimano Curados the older green style I believe the 100 series and one Citica that I bought last year that I would like to sell for $400 plus the shipping. So five reels total for $400 and the Curados were just recently cleaned and oiled and had some bearings replaced. These reels are in great shape and I am only selling to help fund buying 6 new Lews reels. If any of you guys are interested feel free to give me a call 870-577-4472.

Correction they are the CU-200 series not the 100.

Looking to go with all the tournament speed spools. Honestly all of their reels I have picked up are great. Even their bottom end reel feel better than most. I have a feeling Lews is here to stay awhile and they have exploded in popularity not only with their reels but their rods arent to shabby either. Thinking about getting a new cranking stick from them.

I think the secret about the new Lews reels is out. As soon as they get a shipment in they are sold out. I recently switched to them fom another brand that retails for $100 more each than the 6.7 ounce Lews. It cannot compare. They are great reels and the price point is excellent. After you have fished with them for a while Travis, let us know how you like them.

I fished with a guy on Saturday for the Central Pro Am and he had all Lews Rods and Reel combos and I picked them up and was so impressed I have decided to make the switch. He had several of each model and they all felt great but I have to agree that 6.7oz model was my favorite. As it usually is the most expensive model he had with him that day was the one that I liked the best but I think I am also going to get two of the Speed Spool Models in the 5.4:1 just for my cranking needs because the one of those he had felt solid as well. I ll definelty make sure to give you guys a review of them after I have them all setup and get a couple hundred or so casts in.

Lews was the told standard back in the 70s. I still have a couple of reels from that time with the big paddle handles that need some work. They are just about worn out.
